Dogs welcome

Dogs are very welcome in BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz! We are happy to welcome all guests with dogs, but we ask you to keep them on a lead throughout the sanctuary.

Water is served for your four-legged companion in the "paw watering hole" just before you start your tour. There are also plenty of drinking places for your four-legged friend in the sanctuary. Dogs are welcome to let off steam in the dog playground before the forest walk. It is located opposite our bear sanctuary at the edge of the large visitor car park and can be used free of charge during the opening hours of the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz.

No smoking allowed

To ensure the safety of bears, children, and visitors, smoking is prohibited throughout the park to help prevent forest fires.

Frequently asked questions

What payment options are available for purchasing online tickets?

You can pay for online tickets either by credit card or PayPal.

Is there a right of return for admission tickets?

Please be aware that there is no right of withdrawal for contracts related to the provision of services associated with leisure activities when the contract specifies a specific date or period. This is outlined in Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Consequently, all our offers that are date-bound do not allow for a right of withdrawal. However, an exception is made for booked guided tours, which can be cancelled up to 5 days prior to the scheduled date.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund the cost of tickets that have been booked incorrectly or in excess. Therefore, please double-check your entries before finalising your booking!

If an event is cancelled by BÄRENWALD Müritz gGmbH, we will, of course, offer an alternative date or a refund.

How long is the day ticket valid after redemption?

The day ticket at BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz is valid all day after being validated during opening hours. Please ensure your online ticket is validated on-site by the staff at the ticket counter.

Can I also use the online ticket to access the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz via the side entrance (bistro Fischer Mütze)?

Unfortunately, admission with tickets purchased online is only available through the main entrance of our visitor centre.

What do I need to show to gain admission to the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz?

Please show your online ticket to our service team as a mobile ticket on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can print the ticket you received as a PDF file via email. Please note that showing the email alone is not sufficient as a valid ticket.

Can I enter the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz contact-free with an online ticket?

Contact-free entry to the sanctuary with an online ticket is currently not possible.

Is there a fast lane entrance for online ticket holders?

Unfortunately, online tickets do not currently allow faster access to BÄRENWALD Müritz. However, we are working hard to minimise waiting times at the ticket office. To help with this, please download your ticket to your mobile phone in advance as a mobile ticket!
