Photo exhibition: Respect, Compassion and Understanding
New exhibition at the forest gallery
International work for animals in need
FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation dedicated to animals under direct human influence. It exposes abuse, rescues animals in distress and works towards their long-term protection. Its vision is a world in which people treat animals with respect, compassion and understanding.
FOUR PAWS currently runs thirteen sanctuaries as well as partner projects in Europe, Jordan, Vietnam and South Africa. There, rescued bears, big cats and other wild animals find a safe and species-appropriate home. Many of them come from private captivity, circuses or zoos, where they were kept in poor conditions, mistreated, neglected or discarded.
This is why FOUR PAWS strives to provide all animals in its sanctuaries and partner projects with the highest possible quality of life and care. This commitment is based on strict animal welfare and husbandry standards, referred to as the FOUR PAWS quality standards.
This photo exhibition aims to give insight into FOUR PAWS’s international efforts to help animals in need.
