Become a Bear Volunteer for a Day

Experience a day behind the scenes at BÄRENWALD Müritz, where you can learn about the work of our dedicated animal caretakers. Our volunteers will take you on an exciting journey into the fascinating world of bears.

Are you a bear enthusiast looking for a unique experience? Join us as a bear volunteer! You'll spend a day immersed in the behind-the-scenes work of our bear sanctuary, which includes preparing bear snacks, making toys, and much more.

Our BFD and FÖJ volunteers will guide you through the sanctuary, sharing stories about the bears and teaching you how to prepare their food. At lunchtime, our chefs at the organic bistro will provide you with a vegan snack. In the afternoon, you'll have plenty of time to explore and observe the bears on your own. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity! 

Participation is only possible with advance registration. 

Your experience will include an exclusive guided tour, the chance to prepare food, create enrichment items, and observe the bears on your own.

This special activity takes place exclusively from Monday to Friday, from May until the end of September. To secure a spot, please register in advance!
