Become an Animal Caretaker for a Day

Apples, nuts and carrots – bears love them. But how much food do Rocco, Michal, and their friends need each day? And what are their favourite treats?

If you've always dreamed of being an animal caretaker, here's your chance to get up close and personal with bears. First, you'll speak with a bear expert who will explain the behavioural biology of bears and their habitat requirements. You'll also learn fascinating facts about the bears' unique personalities and endearing quirks.

Afterwards, you will work together with our animal keepers and actively assist them. Together, you will prepare the food for the bears and then feed them. If possible, you can also help create an enrichment activity for our bears.

Please discuss your preferred date with us at least one month in advance. This kind of special activity takes place exclusively from May to the end of September. We offer two dates per month.
