Born and raised in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the photographer Ute Duraj, who now lives in Berlin, has been fascinated by nature from an early age. During school time, she started to roam through meadows and forests with her camera in all weathers. Since then, she has deepened her practical and theoretical experience in many photo workshops at home and abroad. Today she presents her pictures in photo exhibitions and on Flickr. 

Ute Duraj is very interested in imparting her knowledge to amateurs in nature and wildlife photography. "I like to show how important it is to wait for the right light, which aperture and exposure time could be set in the camera so that the personal touch becomes the signature in the picture," Ute Duraj emphasises.
